- No one wants their loved ones to be buried next to a terrorist. It is NOT compassionate to put a body like this in a public cemetery where it would cause others so much grief. If you can find a way to be compassionate without causing anguish to others, then fine.

- Actually there aren't "plenty of kids here" waiting for adoption. There are many in foster care, but they are not available for adoption. All foster parents get to do is house them temporarily until the state returns them to their unfit parents.

- "Innocent until proven guilty" refers to our standard for the judicial system. It doesn't apply to the media or online forums or private thoughts. It's still okay to have, share and debate opinions before a verdict.

- The mothers I know who fed their babies solids before 6 months or switched to cow's milk before 12 months did it because it was cheaper, and true or not, said their doctors OK'd it. They were also vehemently defensive of this decision. More education won't solve the problem of stingy parents.
